Eragon- Written by Christopher Paolini

This book is about a boy named Eragon. He lives with his brother and his father in Carvahall. At the start, Eragon was out hunting for food. He couldn't find any deer. He was looking for some deer and instead of finding deer he found a beautiful rock. So he took the rock to the meat store and asked how much money he could get for the stone so he could buy meat. The person said three coins. Eragon said that is nothing. The person said then you get nothing. Then the blacksmith (which is Eragon's friend) came in and bought some meat for Eragon. Then he went home to sleep. In the morning he woke up because he heard a squeaking noise. The stone was shaking! It started to crack. That is all I shall say to you. Because if i told you more it would ruin the whole story.

I do not have a favorite part in this book.That is because I like the whole thing.

Then one day a person who was selling fish came to town. All the kids wanted one. But their mom and dad wouldn't let them. Minli had two coins. She got one of her coins and paid for one. Then she wanted to find the old man of the moon who knows everything. The fish said i know where it is. Minli said did you say something? Yes the fish said I know how to get to never ending mountain(which is by the way where old man of the moon lives)and ask the old man of the moon a question. So then Minli goes on a quest to find the old man of the moon and where he lives.

My favorite part is when she meets a dragon.
Oh and by the way this book has a Newberry award.

came and told everybody to check their little folder to see if they had a golden page that said that they were invited. So Amy and Dan checked, and they had one! So the people that had the golden page went into another room and sat down. The person who reads the will told them to decide if they wanted one million dollars or the clue. Amy and Dan chose the clue! To find what the 39 clues are, read the books!

My favorite part is when they find their Grandma's cat Saladin.

This book is about a pig named Freddy. He lives in a farm with a bunch of other animals. They all can TALK!!!  There was something everyone was scared of. The IGNORMUS!!!!!! They did not know what it looked like!!! Then Freddy and His friend Theodore raced into the big woods to where the IGNORMUS was. They saw something and raced out of the big woods. 


Their friend Jinx the cat had his sister coming over. Her name was Minx. They all got a turn on the swings. Then Freddy walked by and got kicked into the thorns. They got him out and then he went on the swings and flew into the thorns again!!! They got him out again. Then they go on a quest to defeat the IGNORMUS!!!!!!


My favorite part is when Minx says a story!!!
My favorite characters are Jinx and Minx!!!

Summer of the Monkeys

This book is about a boy named Jay Berry and his last name is Lee.  At the start of the book Jay Berry has to go to the river bottoms.  And do you know what he finds???  A monkey!!!  Jay Berry looked around and listened.  He heard a lot of noise coming from other monkeys!!!  Then he ran to his Grandpas store and said there are monkeys in the river bottoms.  Then his Grandpa said there was a train crash and about 30 monkeys got out.  The people in the circus were giving a reward of money to whomever finds the monkeys.  He said that about 29 of them were worth $2 but one was worth $100.  So then Jay Berry and his Grandpa set out on a quest to capture the monkeys...


This is a good book.
My favorite thing about this book is because it is very funny.

 This book is about a kid named Sam Beaver and a trumpeter swan named Louis. At the start of the book Sam goes on a hike and sees two trumpet swans. Then the next day his mother leaves Canada and goes to Montana where Sam and his Dad would soon go. The swans flew to Montana and one got lost. The cygnet that got lost landed next to Sam in Montana at Sam's barn. The cygnet's name was Louis. When Louis was born he couldn't speak. But since he couldn't say I love you, the beautiful swan Serena does not know that he loves her.
But can he say I love you? Read the book and find out!!!
My favorite part is when Louis goes to school with Sam and WRITES!!!

If you read the book you can go with them on their adventures!!!

These are the nine different places they went: Egypt, Rome and Britain, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Peru, The isle of man, Germany and America.

Then on the seventh day a seagull ripped a big hole in the balloon. The hole was about the size of the seagull. He landed on the island of Krakatoa. He had a good time there until the VOLCANO ERUPTED!!!

My favorite part in the book is when the volcano erupted!!!

This book is about a kid named Harry Potter. His parents died so now he lives with his moms sister, her husband and their son. Their last name is Dursley. Harry barely gets any food to eat and his bedroom is in a cupboard. Then he keeps getting letters from someone but he can't have them. The Dursley's keep finding a way to keep it from him. One day someone knocks on the door ("BOOM!!!! BOOM!!!!") and broke the door in half!!!
 I don't want to tell you who it was because it would tell you the whole story!!!!

I love this book and I want to read the whole series. I'm taking a Hogwarts class too!!!
