This book is about a pig named Freddy. He lives in a farm with a bunch of other animals. They all can TALK!!!  There was something everyone was scared of. The IGNORMUS!!!!!! They did not know what it looked like!!! Then Freddy and His friend Theodore raced into the big woods to where the IGNORMUS was. They saw something and raced out of the big woods. 


Their friend Jinx the cat had his sister coming over. Her name was Minx. They all got a turn on the swings. Then Freddy walked by and got kicked into the thorns. They got him out and then he went on the swings and flew into the thorns again!!! They got him out again. Then they go on a quest to defeat the IGNORMUS!!!!!!


My favorite part is when Minx says a story!!!
My favorite characters are Jinx and Minx!!!

Summer of the Monkeys

This book is about a boy named Jay Berry and his last name is Lee.  At the start of the book Jay Berry has to go to the river bottoms.  And do you know what he finds???  A monkey!!!  Jay Berry looked around and listened.  He heard a lot of noise coming from other monkeys!!!  Then he ran to his Grandpas store and said there are monkeys in the river bottoms.  Then his Grandpa said there was a train crash and about 30 monkeys got out.  The people in the circus were giving a reward of money to whomever finds the monkeys.  He said that about 29 of them were worth $2 but one was worth $100.  So then Jay Berry and his Grandpa set out on a quest to capture the monkeys...


This is a good book.
My favorite thing about this book is because it is very funny.

 This book is about a kid named Sam Beaver and a trumpeter swan named Louis. At the start of the book Sam goes on a hike and sees two trumpet swans. Then the next day his mother leaves Canada and goes to Montana where Sam and his Dad would soon go. The swans flew to Montana and one got lost. The cygnet that got lost landed next to Sam in Montana at Sam's barn. The cygnet's name was Louis. When Louis was born he couldn't speak. But since he couldn't say I love you, the beautiful swan Serena does not know that he loves her.
But can he say I love you? Read the book and find out!!!
My favorite part is when Louis goes to school with Sam and WRITES!!!

Gareth can talk too!!! At the the start of the book Gareth says he doesn't have nine lives, but he can explore nine different countries by traveling in time. If you read the book you can go with them on their adventures!!!

These are the nine different places they went: Egypt, Rome and Britain, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Peru, The isle of man, Germany and America.

Then on the seventh day a seagull ripped a big hole in the balloon. The hole was about the size of the seagull. He landed on the island of Krakatoa. He had a good time there until the VOLCANO ERUPTED!!!

My favorite part in the book is when the volcano erupted!!!


People that have an imagination would really like this book.

This book is about a kid named Harry Potter. His parents died so now he lives with his moms sister, her husband and their son. Their last name is Dursley. Harry barely gets any food to eat and his bedroom is in a cupboard. Then he keeps getting letters from someone but he can't have them. The Dursley's keep finding a way to keep it from him. One day someone knocks on the door ("BOOM!!!! BOOM!!!!") and broke the door in half!!!
 I don't want to tell you who it was because it would tell you the whole story!!!!

I love this book and I want to read the whole series. I'm taking a Hogwarts class too!!!

This book is about a kid named Jerry, his sister Rachel, his dad Mr.Pye, and his mom Mrs.Pye. Jerry wants to buy a dog for a dollar.
But he doesn't have a dollar so he has to earn it, and he does. He buys a dog and names it GINGER PYE. The family plays with the new dog. Jerry and his sister have one uncle. His name is uncle Bennie who is only three!!! Uncle Bennie's favorite thing was a pink blanket he called Bubbah. Then on Thanksgiving Ginger DISAPPEARED. EVERYBODY was looking for him. 


I don't want to tell you if they find GINGER. Read this book aaaannd youuuu willll finddd out!

This is the best book I've read so far!


The reason I like this book is because it is funny and mysterious.

My favorite part in the book is the following: Rachel, Uncle Bennie and Jerry were supposed to clean the church. "This my Bubbah? asked Uncle Bennie, surveying his duster suspiciously. You know it's not, said Rachel. It's a duster. Oh, said Uncle Bennie a little disconsolately".
