Book Review - Little House in the Big Woods

Little House in the Big Woods
By: Laura Ingalls Wilder
This book is about a little girl named Laura. She lives in a log cabin in the Big Woods in Wisconsin with her mom Caroline, her dad Charles, her sister Mary and her baby sister Carrie. This book takes place about 60 years ago. Her dad goes hunting every day and every time he brings something home except once. The reason he went hunting every day is because they had no grocery stores like we do now. He tells stories and plays his fiddle every night. They went to the town once and bought some stuff. Sometimes the girls could play but most of the time they cooked and cleaned. The reason is because they had to grow their fruits and vegetables and hunt for meat. They went to grandpa and grandmas house and had a dance, had dinner and the whole family was there. The one time he brought nothing home from hunting they ate bread and butter.

I rate this book - !!!!!!!! =8
